PRESSURE GAUGES
The one pressure gauge shows the pressure before the PRV. The other pressure gauge shows the pressure after the PRV. (Pressure Regulating Valve)
PVC
The picture of the PVC 4-90 break to take out a defective PRV that was installed in the ground. The new PRV installed in the crawlspace with a ball valve for the whole house shutoff. Ball valves are much more reliable at shutting the water off than a gate valve. The gate can drop upon turning the water off. A ball valve, while still a mechanical device and is subject to Murphy's law, is a stainless steel ball and much better design for shutting water off.
ICE-MAKER VALVE
This is an icemaker valve replacement. I cut into the sheetrock to replace the valve for the icemaker line. I used copper propress adapters to go to Uponor pex piping with an Uponor pex ice maker valve. The box did not need replacing at this time as it was not damaged, and will be covered by the fridge.

WATER SERVICE LINE
The water spewing out of the ground and from a break in the water service line coming from the water meter/well to a person's house. The repair is called a 4-90 break. depending on the depth or other factors, I can make the break repair dip down, sideways or in this case up. Glueing PVC pipe and fittings together should result in allowing them to cure for 45-60 minutes for 3/4'' pipe, depending upon weather. Larger sizes require much greater times for the glue to efficiently cure before water is energized back to the system.
